Last week, I was writing about the drama unfolding in Iowa where Abby Finkenauer (D) was struggling with a dispute regarding her ballot access due to a lack of enough ballot signatures. This was because in several counties where she needed at least 100 valid signatures, she had either at or barely above the necessary number of signatures. When focusing on the primary battle happening between Liz Cheney and other Republicans wishing to claim the GOP nomination, the general election is an afterthought.
