Unbeknownst to the general public, Congressman Donald Payne, Jr. had been struggling in the hospital for the past few weeks with complications relating to his diabetes diagnosis, something that I had been aware of because of a press release from the distance meeting era of Congress during COVID when people with diseases like diabetes were at greater risk.
